I recieved Sophia aka MamaChan's suitcase card for 40% discount one morning and I was excited... Excited to go get more Scrapbook Stuffs!!! Thanks SOPHIA!!!
I'm crazy about this hobby even though I don't know much about it honestly. Never been to any class and has never learnt any "techniques" but I just love the completed work.
So... back to my story.... I went down to MWL after meeting 2 mummies to deal for baby items.... Went in and passed Marcus my 3 bags of stuffs that I got (1 diaso, 1 warmer and 1 breastpad) and proceed with my shopping.
Think I was there for about near to 2 hours? hahah
And here's the damage:

Most recent project - Photo Frame for Larry and Christel

My good friend of more than a decade is getting married FINALLY... hehehe
I couldn't go for his ROM in the afternoon on 8th of August 2009 as I'll be heavily pregnant by then and will be attending Yann's traditional in the evening hence I made this for the couple... But I promised that I will attend his traditional dinner in 2010...

My First Frame Made!!!

The Original Ikea Frame purchased:

After the touches of SB... that's the amazing thing about Scrapbooking!!!

Details:

1) Pearlies at the top with Glittering Alphabets, White patterned paper with Silver prints
2) Love Always and Groom

3) Top View with grew Pearlies.
4) I pasted ribbons at the inner boarder of the frame

5) Flower on the bottom left - Also loved the paper used... black with silver patterns

6) Cherish, Honour, Love with the Limo and Champagne Glasses

I really think that this is the best project I've produced.

My 4th Project for my Beautiful Girlfriend!

My 4th Project has been a very meaningful one.

Regina's big day has been set on 10th of May 2009, Mothers' Day.

To make her big day special, I agreed to sing on her wedding dinner... Hahah knowing that I'm a sotong and it doesn't look nice to bring the lyrics up just like that, I made a board that states the lyrics....

Here it is -

The front of it:

The back of it:

Hope she likes it :)

My 2nd and 3rd SB Project

Honestly I can't remember which one came first but here's my 2nd and 3rd SB Project.

I think this is 2nd cause I was still very bad at SB... Look at the words JOY below... Its still my regret till now... So ugly using the Velvet Polka dots paper to cut out JOY. :(
*Like chicken pox loh*

This was done for Jeral, Joshua's P1 Buddy on 5th Jan in order to present this to him on 6th of Jan 2009. He should be in P3 and he's a very sweet boy whom helped Joshua take his plate of Prata on the 2nd day of school. Joshua was like walking in front of Jeral and I asked him where was his food and he looked back... Poor Jeral was taking the plate walking behind him... Joshua's a tall boy so he didn't look like a P1 boy and looked more like bullying Jeral.. hahah
To Thank him for the effort on the first 3 days, I took a photo of him and Joshua, developed it and went to buy PP at Bukit Timah Plaza to make this for him.

I hope he liked it :)

How I Started Scrapbooking - April 2008

I'm starting this blog to document my Scrapbook Journey:

I started Scrapbooking in April 2008 and it all started for my hubby... and it never stopped since... His birthday is on 15th May and I wanted to find a special gift for him. I've given him most of the stuffs like wallet, shoes, watch, shirts... etc

I saw that Regina has been making really nice crafts and boards and as I wanted a special gift for my him so I asked her to teach me scrapbooking. :) She had gone for a couple of course that time with Brenda (if I remember correctly) and was already creating really nice work!

So in April, I bought the boards from Spotlight and made Regina went Paper shopping with me. hehehe As you know, I have 3 kiddos and how to do the boards without hubby knowing? hahahah I lied, yes I admit that I lied to my hubby saying that I have work commitments and have to stay back to finish some work... hahah and normally stayed on till about 8 plus every evening.

During lunch, I would bring the soft copies of the photos to International Plaza to develop the photos and during the wait, I would also go to the Scrapbook shop that I found there to look for nice stuffs. :)

After getting everything I need, I started working on the board sharp at 6pm and did it bit by bit...

Here's the final gift to him:

As we didn't have any wedding album taken hence I wanted a board to document our time together...

Pics in this board are Shawn carrying Joshua, Pics taken at our ROM, Joshua holding 1 day old Joy, Our weekend Conrad getaway... etc
Pics in this board are Infant Pics of Joshua, Joy and Josiah, Pics taken at the Zoo, Pics of Joshua and Joy's Cheeky faces... etc

I've never regreted a single moment on picking this hobby even though its very expensive... hehehe

More works to be uploaded.
